Privacy Notice

We take data protection seriously

The protection of your privacy when processing personal data is an important concern for us. When you visit our website, our web servers store the IP address of your internet service provider, the website from which you visit us, the web pages you visit on our site and the date and duration of your visit as standard. This information is essential for the technical transmission of the web pages and secure server operation. A personalised evaluation of this data does not take place.

If you send us data via contact form, this data will be stored on our servers in the course of data backup. Your data will only be used by us to process your request. Your data will be treated strictly confidential. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.

Personal data

Personal data are data about your person. This includes your name, your address and your email address. You do not have to disclose any personal data to visit our website. In some cases, we need your name and address and other information in order to provide you with the requested service.

The same applies if we supply you with information material on request or if we answer your questions. In these cases we will always point this out to you. Furthermore, we only store the data that you have automatically or voluntarily provided us with.

If you use one of our services, we usually only collect the data that is necessary to provide you with our service. We may ask you for further information, but this is voluntary. Whenever we process personal data, we do so in order to provide you with our service or to pursue our commercial goals.

Automatically stored data

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Date and time of the request
  • Name of the requested file
  • Page from which the file was requested
  • Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
  • the web browser and operating system used
  • complete IP address of the requesting computer
  • data volume transferred
This data is not merged with other data sources. Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit f GDPR on the basis of our justified interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.
For reasons of technical security, in particular to ward off attempts to attack our web server, this data is stored by us for a short period. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons based on this data. After seven days at the latest, the data is anonymized by shortening the IP address at domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a link to the individual user. In anonymized form, the data is also processed for statistical purposes; it is not compared with other data sets or passed on to third parties, even in part.

Cookies

When you visit our website, we may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files that are transferred from an internet server to your browser and stored on its hard disk. Without your consent, only the Internet Protocol address is stored, but no other personal data. This information, which is stored in the cookies, makes it possible to automatically recognize you the next time you visit our website, which makes it easier for you to use it. The legal basis for the use of technically necessary cookies is the legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Customer account

For each customer who registers accordingly, we set up password-protected direct access to the inventory data stored with us (customer account). Here you can view data on your completed and open orders and manage your address and event data. You undertake to treat the personal access data confidentially and not to make them available to any unauthorised third parties. We cannot accept liability for misused passwords unless we are responsible for the misuse.
With the function "stay logged in" we want to make your visit to our website as pleasant as possible. This function enables you to use our services without having to log in again each time. For security reasons, however, you will be asked to enter your password again if, for example, your personal data is to be changed or you wish to place an order. We recommend that you do not use this function if the computer is used by several users. We would like to point out that the function "stay logged in" is not available if you use a setting that automatically deletes stored cookies after each session.

Security

We have taken technical and administrative security measures to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorized access. All our employees as well as service providers working for us are bound to the valid data protection laws.

Whenever we collect and process personal data, it is encrypted before it is transmitted. This means that your data cannot be misused by third parties. Our security precautions are subject to a continuous improvement process and our privacy policy is constantly being revised. Please make sure that you have the latest version.

Rights of data subjects

You have the right to information, correction, deletion or restriction of the processing of your stored data, a right to object to the processing as well as a right to data transferability and to complain in accordance with the requirements of data protection law at any time.

Right of access:
You can demand information from us as to whether and to what extent we process your data.
Right to rectification:
If we process your data that are incomplete or incorrect, you can demand that we correct or complete them at any time.
Right to erasure:
You can demand the deletion of your data from us if we process them illegally or if the processing interferes disproportionately with your legitimate protection interests. Please note that there may be reasons that prevent immediate deletion, e.g. in the case of legally regulated storage obligations.
Irrespective of the exercise of your right to deletion, we will delete your data immediately and completely, provided that there is no legal obligation to retain them.
Right to restriction of processing:
You can demand that we limit the processing of your data if

  • you dispute the accuracy of the data, for a period of time that allows us to verify the accuracy of the data.
  • the processing of the data is unlawful, but you refuse to have it deleted and instead demand a restriction on the use of the data,
  • we no longer need the data for the intended purpose, but you still need the data to assert or defend legal claims, or
  • you have lodged an objection to the processing of the data.

Right to data portability:
You may require us to provide you with your data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format and that you may transfer this data to another responsible party without hindrance from us, provided that
-we        process this data on the basis of a revocable consent given by you or for the fulfilment of a contract between us, and
-this       processing is carried out using automated procedures.
If technically feasible, you can request us to transfer your data directly to another responsible person.
Right to object:
If we process your data out of a legitimate interest, you can object to this data processing at any time; this would also apply to profiling based on these provisions. We will then no longer process your data unless we can prove compelling reasons for processing worthy of protection which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. You may object to the processing of your data for the purpose of direct marketing at any time without giving reasons.
Right to lodge a complaint:
If you are of the opinion that we are processing your data in violation of German or European data protection law, please contact us so that we can clarify any questions you may have. Of course, you also have the right to contact the supervisory authority responsible for you, the respective state office for data protection supervision.
If you wish to assert any of the above rights against us, please contact our data protection officer. In case of doubt, we may request additional information to confirm your identity.

Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to change our privacy policy if new technologies make this necessary. Please make sure that you have the latest version. If fundamental changes are made to this data protection declaration, we will announce these on our website.
